简介：小女孩和父母生活在城中村逼仄的阁楼中。某日，一个来探亲的小男孩拉小提琴的声音吸引了她的注意。从那之后，她恋上了从窗口观察对方及欣赏其演奏的优雅乐曲。贫困的生活和学习的压力使她渴望逃离，她开始幻想自己也能拥有“一把琴”。在小男孩走后，经济窘迫的她决定去琴行“偷”一把琴参加比赛。然而，当事情败露，小女孩被抓，她又被母亲带回了原来的生活之中。小女孩这才发现，当一切消失殆尽，她还是那个被困在阁楼中的她，但，隐隐约约的，她好像总能听到那首名为《云雀高飞》的曲子。

One day, the sound of playing the violin caught her attention. It is from a boy who was just visiting his family here. She dreams of escaping living under poverty and academic pressure, and she starts to fantasize about owning ‘a violin’ herself. After the boy leaves, in her lack of money, she decides to ‘steal’ a violin from the music store to enter the performance competition. However, when things fall apart, the little girl is caught and brought back to her old life by her mother. Only then she realizes that when everything is gone, she is still the same person who is trapped in the attic. But faintly, she always seems to hear the music called ‘Larking Ascending’.
